On Monday 28th May a small team will be embarking on an epic bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats all in aid of The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

The team are aiming to complete this incredible 900 mile adventure in just six days which means pedalling an average of 150 miles every day!  This would be an incredible challenge on level terrain, however the route takes in some 10,000 metres of climbs.

The brave cyclists taking on this challenge include organiser James Sutherland, Managing Director of Dortech.  “Having thought up this project I have somehow managed to get the rest of the team to join me in what will be a gruelling ride. It will be tough, but if it was easy it wouldn’t be a challenge and we hope to raise a significant amount for a cause we are all truly passionate about. I am lucky to have my own happy and healthy family, so giving something back to support children with life threatening conditions is really important.”

Other members of the team include; Andy Bell from Wates Construction, Mark Zimny a Technical Designer also from Dortech and Craig Turner from Senior Architectural Systems.
