Dortechs MD James Sutherland was recently invited to join a team of cyclists from BAM Construction on a charity cycle ride, organised to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

This incredible feat included riding the first two stages of the 2014 Tour de France, however unlike the professionals the team did not stop but rode both stages back to back. Some 230 non-stop and punishing miles with some of the toughest cycle climbs in the country.

An experienced cyclist, James was delighted to have been invited to join the BAM team stating;

Every year Dortech aims to positively contribute to the community, charities and good organisations that so desperately need funding. So when BAM invited me to join them on this venture it just made perfect sense. I am fortunate enough to be able bodied and enjoy cycling, so why not use this for something positive?”
